Rizon Selects Bombardier Challenger 605 Jet to Expand its Fleet

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 14, 2007) - Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Rizon Jet has placed a firm order for a widebody Challenger 605 business aircraft. The transaction is valued at approximately $27.4 million US, based on the list price for typically equipped aircraft. The new aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2008 and will be based in Bahrain.

"We selected the Challenger 605 jet for its exceptional reliability," said Ibrahim AlHamer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Rizon Jet. "With a fleet dispatch reliability over 99 per cent, the Challenger jet is ideal to operate in the challenging climate and conditions of the Middle East. Additionally, the bright and spacious new cabin interior and high-tech business features make this exceptional jet the ideal aircraft to meet the high expectations and wide range of needs of our discerning customers."

Rizon Jet, a growing charter operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf region, is introducing the Challenger 605 jet to its fleet to meet the demand in their large aircraft segment, providing a comfortable, high-performance aircraft option for clients traveling in the Middle East, Europe and the United States.

"The Challenger 605 jet is perfectly suited for charter operators in the Middle East, supported by the Challenger 600 Series huge popularity in the region with a 50 per cent share of the installed base in the Middle East and India," said Bob Horner, vice-president, international sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "We couldn't be more pleased that Rizon has chosen this market-leading aircraft to be the first large jet in their fleet."

In service since January 2007, the Challenger 605 jet features the widest stand-up cabin of any large category business jet available today. The aircraft is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite and features an all-new cabin electronic system. It can whisk five passengers from Riyadh-Bankok and Paris-New York non-stop(i), in superior comfort.
