RMD Entertainment Updates Progress of Roc Monee's Debut Album

Co-op Marketing Program to Begin With Trans-World Entertainment Because of Demand

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 10, 2006 -- RMD Entertainment Group (PINKSHEETS: RMDG) announced today that their star artist Roc Monee's debut album "Diamond in the Rough," which hit major retail stores across North America on September 26th, has shown positive signs of performance in its first ten days on the market. Many retail outlets that carried the album sold out quickly because supply on hand at stores could not meet the demand. Trans-World Entertainment, the parent company for Coconuts and FYE, was so inundated with requests for the album that they contacted Universal Music Distribution about doing a national marketing campaign to get more units in all their stores across North America.

RMD has engaged in a major radio promotion and advertising program for "Diamond in the Rough" that has seen full page ads in major magazines like the Source Magazine and spins of the debut single "Overdrive" on radio stations across the country including broadcast giant Radio One, Inc. ( and many select Arch Broadcasting, and Clear Channel stations. Progress has been better than expected for a new artist and a new influx of station call letters are expected to be added onto that list next week when the final edit of Roc's first video single "Overdrive" is serviced to key video broadcast outlets such as RHN, BET, MTV, VH1, and FUSE.

RMDG CEO Giorgio Costonis commented on the company's first major music release. "We have all been patiently waiting for the first indication on the performance of this title for RMD and Roc Monee. Trans World Entertainment has validated the project for us in a huge way. They have taken steps to begin the program of raising more awareness of Roc's album across the country in all Coconuts and FYE stores. We fully anticipate being able to exploit this into additional sales opportunities by making Roc available for in-store appearances and promotional performances wherever we have support. Management has made the decision to also advertise with radio stations that are spinning his first single 'Overdrive' to support this effort. We continue to target other key retailers so that we can run similar programs to increase the stock in each and every store that carries our titles." Costonis further commented, "We know this is only the beginning for this album but we are amazed at the reception it has received to this point simply from being played on radio without the video in rotation yet. In today's market, video exposure is critical to sales spikes in hip-hop. We have gotten feedback on Roc's debut video and it has all been positive. It's a funny entertaining video with a great performance by Roc and some comedic undertones and has a great name connected to it in Video Director Lamont 'Liquid' Burell who has directed several high profile videos for superstar Alicia Keys. Roc's already substantial fan base should continue to increase with each video released and each song we release for radio promotion. This will continue to increase sales and revenue for us as a result. We see substantial revenue from this album coming into our company for next 5 to 6 months."

Management also thanked all Roc's fans for their continued support.
