RMHC Names Sheila Musolino Chief Operating Officer

Charged to Lead Growth and Day-to-Day Operations of the Global Nonprofit


OAK BROOK, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 30, 2013) - The Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Global Board of Trustees elected Sheila Musolino as Chief Operating Officer effective June 1, 2013. Musolino will lead the strategic planning of the Charity's growth, day-to-day operations, fundraising and marketing and communications efforts. Musolino, a 29-year veteran of McDonald's®, was previously the vice president, McDonald's U.S. supply chain, strategic supply. She will work with a diverse group of people with experience in business and/or healthcare, who share a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children around the world through family centered programming.

"Sheila brings to the Charity an exceptional ability to develop and execute business strategies and an innate ability to forge strong relationships. Her skill set will be vital as our Charity is projected to grow our core programs by 37 percent in the next three years in order to meet the increasing demand for services," said J.C. Gonzalez-Mendez, president and CEO of the Charity, to whom Musolino will report.

For the past five years, Musolino has served on the RMHC of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Board of Directors. In her capacity as a board member, she led the annual plan development process which included the implementation of event segmentation strategies, creating initiatives to cultivate new donors and increasing corporate donor support to the local Chapter.
