Road & Track® Partners With Exciting Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch

High Performance Driving and Racing Schools, Fantasy Camps, Competitions and Autocross Challenges Planned for 2010

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) -  Road & Track and Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch today announced an exclusive partnership to create a full roster of exciting motorsports events for 2010, to be held at Spring Mountain's cutting-edge racing facility less than one hour north of the Las Vegas strip in Pahrump, Nevada.

With this partnership, Road & Track (http://www.RoadandTrack.com), the nation's longest-running and most trusted automotive magazine, and Spring Mountain (http://www.RaceSpringMountain.com), a 220-acre motorsports enthusiasts facility, are working together to bring a variety of driving and racing events to life, including new car road tests, high performance driving and racing schools, fantasy camps with driving competitions and autocross challenges, motor press events, a teen driving school, new vehicle showcases and more.

"The staff at Road & Track and Spring Mountain have plenty in common when it comes to our obsession with anything automotive," said Matt DeLorenzo, Editor-in-Chief of Road & Track. "Not only do we thrive on challenging courses that push the boundaries of today's new cars, we thrive on motorsport events that bring people of all ages and backgrounds together -- to drive better, to compete together and to experience 'thrills behind the wheel.' The track at Spring Mountain is the perfect venue."

Consisting of a challenging 1.5 mile or 2.2 mile road course, or a 3.5 mile multi-configuration road course when combined, the tracks at Spring Mountain Motorsports ranch take their cues from world-renowned courses such as the Long Beach Grand Prix Street Circuit and Moss Corner at the Mosport International Raceway in Ontario, Canada. The courses tax even the most demanding drivers with banked corners, blind drops, technical off-camber corners and lightning-fast straight-aways. The facility is also home to the Ron Fellows Corvette Driving School operations, a Lotus Performance Driving School and a Private Motorsports Country Club, complete with an 8,000 square-foot exclusive resort-style clubhouse, track viewing tower, pool and fitness center.

"We're thrilled to partner with Road & Track, the most recognized and respected magazine in our industry," said John Morris, CEO of Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. "Together, we're leveraging our synergies and shared passions to create a full lineup of exhilarating motorsports events this year, under the sun in the beautiful Nevada desert, conveniently located near the Las Vegas strip."

In addition to on-site driving and racing events, Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch will be part of various Road & Track editorial features, such as new car road tests, new car showcases, videos, blog articles and radio broadcasts. Spring Mountain will also be home to Road & Track corporate events, including sales meetings and convention activities.
