RoadLink's Safety Czar Earns Prestigious Lifetime Volunteer Award

Woody Yarwood Recognized During 2008 National Truck Driving Championships

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - September 11, 2008) - Woody Yarwood, corporate director of safety for Atlanta-based RoadLink, received the prestigious 2008 Lifetime Volunteer Award at the recent 2008 National Truck Driving Championships for his years of outstanding contributions to trucking safety.

Considered the "Super Bowl of Safety," the National Truck Driving Championships is an annual competition of the American Trucking Association -- the national trade association for the trucking industry, with 37,000 members.

RoadLink is the largest private independent Intermodal Logistics service provider in North America.

Yarwood, a 40-year veteran of the trucking industry, was recognized along with his wife Jeanne, for having "demonstrated their steadfast commitment and devotion to the success" over many years of the National Truck Driving Championships. Yarwood, who began his career as a driver for United Parcel Service, is a 13-year employee of RoadLink and is based in Bethlehem, PA.

"Selfless doesn't even begin to capture the essence of this couple," said Doug Cook, of the NTDC. "Their technical savvy and tireless support -- before, during and after each competition -- is not only invaluable to the execution of these championships, but also to its professional image."

Yarwood, a Vietnam Veteran, is credited with establishing the computer systems that track, score and report results of the NTDC, held in Houston last month.

Mike Raue, vice president of operations support for RoadLink, said Yarwood "deserves a lifetime achievement award from RoadLink for his passion and commitment to improving safety performance at the company. He has shown remarkable progress in reducing losses and claim counts. On top of that he is a wonderful guy who demonstrates a positive attitude in everything he does."

Said Yarwood: "I am honored and humbled by the award, and to even be in the same company of such incredible drivers and former winners. It is super that my wife, who has been with me for many years of the previous competitions, was also recognized. She knows truck driving is in my blood."
