Roambi Names Kenneth Jakobsen as Senior Vice President of Sales

Former CA Technologies Executive Brings SaaS Sales, Business Development and Strategic Partnership Expertise to Data Visualization Leader

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2013) - Roambi, the business app that redesigns the way the world interacts with data, today announced the appointment of Kenneth Jakobsen as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales. Ken has extensive experience in the software as a service (SaaS) space and will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption of Roambi's SaaS business and expanding and leading Roambi's sales team across the Americas and APAC region.

Ken has a proven ability to build profitable sales models, develop strategic partnerships and improve customer retention. He comes to Roambi from CA Technologies, where he most recently served as Vice President of On Demand Solution Sales, responsible for driving sales, business development and customer success. Part of the leadership team for five years, Ken helped found CA Technologies' SaaS business in 2008, growing it to $150 million in five years.

In addition to driving sales, Ken also helped build the SaaS partner ecosystem at CA Technologies, and implemented a customer success team that drove over 90 percent renewal rates for the 2012 fiscal year.

Previous to his role as Vice President of On Demand Solution Sales, Ken served as CA's Vice President of the Office of the EVP and General Manager of Global Sales, Marketing and Client Services where he led special projects including the award-winning implementation of Salesforce.com across the organization.
