Robeco Asset Management to Open Office in Korea in August

ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - June 8, 2009) - To further strengthen its Asian institutional network and distribution relationships, Robeco Asset Management will open up an office in Seoul.

Robeco has been active in the Korean Market for a number of years, servicing its clients out of the Robeco Japan branch. 'The Korea team will focus on both institutional and B2B clients. Being present in Korea enables Robeco to further enhance the relationship with our institutional clients and to further develop distribution relationships for our top products with leading Korean asset-management and securities companies.' The office will be headed by Ken Park, former Senior Investment Consultant at Watson Wyatt in Seoul. Institutional Client Service Director Korea, Jeroen van Wilgenburg will join the Robeco Korea branch as of August.

Currently Robeco has Asian offices in Mumbai, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong. As part of its international expansion strategy, Robeco also intends to open an office in Taiwan in the near future.
