Bad Economy Puts Premium on Superior Executive Performance


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - February 10, 2009) - Privately held Robertson Lowstuter (R | L), a leader in coaching, developing, and transitioning executives, is pleased to announce that Stephen Axel, Pat Mater, and Barbara Hancock Annin have been added to its executive coaching team.

Stephen Axel brings domestic and international marketing experience for publicly traded companies in both healthcare and high technology. At R | L, Stephen will provide marketing leadership to all of the firm's initiatives as well as being a career coach for senior executives in transition. He is known for his creative value option strategies, deep knowledge of enabling technology, and people development skills. He has a BA from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Pat Mater is an accomplished human resources executive and valued business partner. She will be assisting R | L in executive coaching and in executive development opportunities. Pat has worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies and is known as a strategist with a high-energy, collaborative leadership style. She is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society for Training and Development. She has a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an MS in Industrial Relations from Purdue University.

Barbara Hancock Annin is a highly skilled executive coach, communicator, and facilitator. She has a proven track record coaching senior-level executives and helping align their leadership developmental objectives with the overall strategy of the organization. Barbara is an instructor with the Leadership Arts Certificate Program at the University of Chicago. She is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago, the Chicagoland Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (CCASTD), and the Academy of Management. Barbara received her PhD from Fielding Graduate University and an MBA from DePaul University.
