Robex appointment of Alexander Platt

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire – March 13, 2008) - Robex Resources Inc (TSX-V: RBX) - It is with regret that Robex announces the resignation of Henri Maire as a director. His professional engagements in other parts of the world have restricted his time available for the Company. Robex wishes him great success in his activities.

It is with pleasure that the Board of Directors of Robex welcomes the appointment of Alexander H. Platt as a director, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Henri Maire.

Alexander H. Platt is the Executive Vice-President of Projects International where he serves as General Manager, working with clients on issues of international market access and finance. He has extensive experience on a wide range of international economic policy, trade, market access, and commercial issues, notably in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the former Soviet Union.

Mr. Platt received his law degree cum laude from Bowdoin College in 1977. As a Rotary International Fellow he studied international relations at the University Institute of Higher International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland from 1978 to 1979 and received his Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1980 from the Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the District of Columbia and the New York Bars.

After lawschool, from 1980 to 1981, he served as a law clerk to Judge Leonard P. Moore of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York.

From 1981 to 1983, Mr. Platt was an Associate in The Corporate Finance Department of the First Boston Corporation, an Associate General Counsel in the Office of the United States Trade Representative from 1983 to 1985 and Acting Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Congressional Affairs in 1985. From 1985 until 1987 he served as Director of International Economic Affairs on the staff of the National Security Council. From 1988 to 1989 he was General Counsel of the National Economic Commission, a bipartisan body established by Congress to examine ways to reduce the federal budget deficit. From 1989 to 1996 Mr Platt was a Partner in an international law firm where he headed the firm's International Financial Institutions Practice Group and specialized in international economic and trade matters. His work for clients involved assisting major U.S. and international companies achieve their objectives in U.S. and foreign markets. He has had particular experience on policy and commercial matters worldwide.
