Rocco Rossi's Campaign Continues to Attract New Team Members Daily

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2010) - This week saw Rocco Rossi launch an advertising campaign, share his vision for Toronto at the Board of Trade, and address hundreds of invigorated supporters at a campaign event.

Notable Toronto figures proud to be joining Rocco Rossi's campaign team are:

Dee Dee Heywood is an accomplished consultant. Ms. Heywood's most recent contract was with the department of Foreign Affairs for the G8 and G20 Summit. She is a former political aide to John Tory, Premier Mike Harris and Premier Ernie Eves. She has participated in countless municipal campaigns, in addition to positions held as Executive Assistant to Gayle Christie and Alan Tonks in their role as Mayor of York.

Gina Saccoccio Brannan, Q.C is a prominent lawyer and partner at Brannan Meiklejohn Barristers. Ms. Brannan is a notable PC party member.

Laurie Laykish is an accomplished marketing leader with both depth and breadth of experience. Executive positions include Sprint, McDonald's and Porter Airlines. Laurie is now Top Dog at Fetch Marketing, whose clients include the following sectors: automotive, food service, airline and agencies. 

James Morton is a partner at Steinberg Morton Hope & Israel LLP and is a prominent Liberal. Mr. Morton is past President of the Ontario Bar Association. His practice focuses on commercial, criminal and constitutional litigation in all levels of court, from Tribunals through to the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a certified specialist of the Law Society of Upper Canada in the area of Civil Litigation and the Treasure's Medalist for 1988.

Kenneth Tanenbaum is the Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of Kilmer Brownfield Management Limited. Mr. Tanenbaum is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1991. He has a long history of volunteer leadership, is an active member of Young Presidents' Organization, and was recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 in 2001.

Patrick Luciani is co-founder and director of the popular Grano Speakers Series and is also co-director of the Munk Debates. Mr. Luciani has authored two books on economic policy and served as Executive Director of the Donner Canadian Foundation. He is currently a Senior Resident at Massey College and is a Senior Fellow of the Global Cities Program at the Munk Centre for International Studies at the University of Toronto.
