Rock Creek Signs On to New Healthy Dining Web Site

Becomes the First Upscale Restaurant to Participate

BETHESDA, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 28, 2006 -- Since opening its doors in March 2005, Rock Creek Restaurant has been on the cutting edge of a healthy eating trend that is quickly gaining national momentum. In August, Rock Creek will take another bold step and become one of the first participants in a new Web site that matches diners with restaurants that offer calorie-conscious menu choices.

Healthydiningfinder.com is a joint effort between National Restaurant Association and the California-based Healthy Dining Program. The site is expect to go live on August 28 and is being partially funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). It is a free resource to help consumers locate participating restaurants based on location, cuisine and price. When consumers click on to a restaurant's listing, they will get nutritional information on all its featured healthy menu items.

"We are delighted that the National Restaurant Association, the Healthy Dining Program and the CDC are putting their considerable resources and influence behind this ground-breaking Web site. This type of collaborative effort shows that the food-service industry is listening to consumers and giving them a way to sustain healthier life styles," stressed Rock Creek Co-owners Tom Williams and Judy Hammerschmidt.

Located in Bethesda, Maryland, Rock Creek is the first upscale restaurant in the Washington metropolitan area to offer only nutritionally balanced meals for today's conscientious diners in an elegant setting. Rock Creek is open for lunch Monday-Friday, and dinner seven days a week. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
