Rock It Brands Launches Rock It Workouts, Blend 54 and Industry 1212 in Old Pasadena

With a Grand Opening Slated for September 2011, New Lifestyle Complex Debuts Live DJ-Fueled Fitness Club, Tea Bar and Luxury Goods Retailer

A private, star-studded grand opening event will also take place next month, benefitting the company's philanthropic arm -- Rock It Forward, which promotes and encourages healthy living for America's children.

The complex, a stunning 6000 square-foot space designed for luxury, form and style, is located at 54 West Green Street and is the brainchild of well-known entertainment branding executive Nicole Winnaman (, who has launched campaigns for dozens of celebrities including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Ellen DeGeneres.

The anchor of the space is Rock It Workouts, a new fitness center that offers high-energy, upbeat workouts that are entirely set to the beats spun live by on-site DJs, who have each been personally selected by Winnaman. With daily classes that focus on cardio wellness, toning and shaping, yoga, weight training and more, Rock It Workouts offers something for young to old and at all fitness levels. Classes officially begin September 12th, and members can pre-register for annual, monthly or student memberships, all of which are offered in limited numbers in order to keep classes at a comfortable size. In addition, individual classes can be purchased based upon space availability.

"Throughout my years in the music business, I've become very aware of the incomparable energy that is created by live music performances. It inspires people to move, to dance and simply be happy," says Winnaman. "Live music creates the perfect atmosphere in which to get people up and on their feet, and when I conceptualized pairing DJs with the best choreographers and trainers in the business, I knew Rock It Workouts would resonate, especially with people who are tired of the same old fitness routine. We've already had so many people come in and tell us that they can't wait to get started."

The center will include Blend 54, a tea bar that offers fifty-four new and exclusive blends of hot and iced teas from around the world that will be sold on-site. Winnaman and her team have worked with some of the most sought-after tea masters in the world to craft the menu, and will also make the blends available as loose teas for those who wish to brew their own at home.

"Our teas are designed to support daily wellness -- so we have herbal teas that are each tailored to address the body's specific needs," adds Winnaman. "They are particularly perfect for replenishing and hydrating after a workout."

Industry 1212 takes up residence in the Pasadena complex as well, overlooking the Rock It Workouts studio floor. The high-end luxury retailer will offer hand-selected, unique gifts and products that range from candles to couture, from aromatherapy to workout gear. Each product carried at Industry 1212 has been culled by a carefully selected group of style spotters that Winnaman has worked with over the years.
