Rock It Forward and Adrienne Maloof Kick Off National Campaign to Get Kids Fit

A Community-Spirited Program Developed by Rock It Workouts, Rock It Forward Makes Getting Moving a Priority for Area Youth

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 22, 2011) - Rock It Workouts (www.RockItWorkouts.com) is pleased to announce that Adrienne Maloof (www.AdrienneMaloof.com), entrepreneur, designer, mother and a star of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will join forces with Rock It Forward in a national campaign to inspire youth to make healthier choices and get physically fit.

Rock It Forward is a community program that motivates children using a noncompetitive, dance-based, live DJ format that doesn't exclude any child based upon skill or fitness level. Maloof recently kicked off the campaign by working out with youth in Southern California at the Rock It Workouts Studio in Pasadena, using her positivity, fitness training and endless skills as a mother to create a fun-filled and encouraging workout environment.

"I am so passionate about children's health and wellness," said Maloof. "My children have long since been encouraged in athletics, especially via my family's involvement with both basketball and skateboarding, so I know firsthand just how important it is to make physical activity and fitness a priority for kids. Besides all of the crucial health benefits of being physically fit, I also strongly believe that a child who feels strong and healthy is a child who is better empowered to face the world. Rock It Forward makes this goal both fun and attainable for kids, and I'm so excited to be a part of this effort."
