RockBridge Appoints New Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 29, 2010) - RockBridge Energy Inc. (RockBridge) (TSX VENTURE:RBE) announces that at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held March 26, 2010, Dusan Berka, P. Eng., was elected to the Board of Directors of RockBridge.

Mr. Berka has over 35 years of international business experience including extensive experience in the finance, marketing, and administration of public companies. Mr. Berka has served as a Director and Officer of various public companies traded on the TSX, TSX Venture and NASDAQ and is currently the President and CEO of Megastar Development Corp. (TSXV- MDV). Mr. Berka is a graduate engineer with a M.Sc. (Dipl.Ing.) degree from Slovak Technical University, Bratislava, Slovakia and has been a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia since 1977.

At the AGM, Gary Mathiesen, Donald Gee and Steve Mathiesen were re-elected to the Board of Directors, now joined by Mr. Berka. The AGM approved adoption of a 10% rolling stock option plan. Following the meeting, RockBridge granted Mr. Berka stock options to acquire 300,000 shares at an exercise price of $0.14 for a period of 5 years.

RockBridge announced on March 24, 2010 that the Woodrush oil and gas project in northeast British Columbia had 2 new discoveries. Woodrush, which includes the Drake properties, now has 8 oil and gas wells with more planned for development. RockBridge holds a 1.0% working interest in Woodrush.
