Rockcliff's Phase 2 Airborne Survey Identifies VTEM Anomalies at Snow Lake VMS Project, Manitoba

SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - Rockcliff Resources Inc. ("Rockcliff") (TSX VENTURE:RCR)(Tier 1) is pleased to announce that Geotech Ltd. (Geotech) of Aurora, Ontario has completed a second phase, VTEM airborne survey totalling 2,483 line kilometres on its Snow Lake VMS Project. The survey was completed on properties (Squall, Tramping, Jackfish) within the project area in close proximity to HudBay Minerals Inc.'s recently discovered Lalor Lake Deposit (indicative potential of 18-20 million tonnes grading 7.7% to 8.8% zinc). Preliminary examination of the data has identified prospective areas where multiple, untested VTEM anomalies are associated with underexplored, favourable juvenile arc rocks. All known VMS mines in the Flin Flon and Snow Lake camps are hosted within juvenile arc rocks of the Flin Flon greenstone belt, one of the most prolific and the largest Paleoproterozoic VMS district in the world.

Prioritization of the anomalies based on their conductivity and proximity to juvenile arc rocks is in progress. Exploration of priority anomalies will include ground proofing and, if warranted, diamond drilling to determine their VMS potential.

The survey utilized Geotech's versatile time-domain electromagnetic (VTEM) and high sensitivity, cesium vapour magnetometer systems. The survey is a modern, state of the art, geophysical technology that has a proven track record of mineral discovery in the Flin Flon greenstone belt. It has excellent depth penetration and high spatial resolution capabilities along with superior resistivity discrimination for detection of weaker anomalies.
