Rocket Fuel Welcomes Rhonda Shantz as Vice President of Marketing

With over 20 years of corporate and agency experience, she will lead the marketing department at Rocket Fuel.

Rhonda was most recently Vice President of Global Marketing for Symantec, where she galvanized a strategy around cybercrime that reinvented the Norton brand, grew market share, and made an emotional imprint on consumers. Her marketing expertise contributed to Norton being recognized by Forbes/Landor as a breakaway brand, and also garnered additional recognition with over 100 industry awards for the period of 2008-2013, including an Effie, Addy, Webby, Hugo Television, Event Marketer, Communication Arts, and many others.

Rhonda is recognized as an innovator in marketing, driving marketing initiatives like the creation of "Cybergeddon," a nine-part series and original feature film with CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, which was distributed on Yahoo! in over 20 countries and reached over 30 million viewers in two months.

Previous to Symantec, Rhonda served as Partner and Technology Practice Lead at Porter Novelli, an Omnicom company for over 10 years. During that time she steered strategy for hundreds of companies -- from start-ups like Rio, Geoworks, and AltaVista, to the likes of McAfee, PeopleSoft, Wells Fargo, HP, and Qualcomm. Before Porter Novelli, Rhonda led go-to-market programs for HP. She started her career at Intel.
