Rockford Energy Partners II Acquires Huber Energy L.P.'s South Texas Assets

TULSA, OK -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 10, 2006 -- Rockford Energy Partners II, LLC ("Rockford") has acquired, through private negotiation, all of the oil and gas assets of the Huber Energy L.P. in the South Texas Gold River field of Webb and Dimmit counties. The acquired properties hold 75 Bcfe of net proved reserves and currently generate approximately 12 MMcfepd of net daily production. Identified upside in the properties includes behind pipe recompletions and additional drilling across the 76,000 gross / 61,000 net acres.

Rockford vice president of reservoir engineering, John Minton, said, "These properties contain a multitude of development opportunities through over 180 PDNP and PUD locations along with significant untested CBM and deep horizon potential. Our plan is to continue a one rig program in this area during 2006 and increase the work level to a two rig program in 2007. We expect the production from these assets to almost double by the end of 2007."
