Rocky Mountain Chemical Producers Work to Maintain Spending Level in 2008, an Industrial Info News Alert
SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - March 5, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources
(Sugar Land, Texas) -- The Rocky Mountain region of the United States is
home to only 108 operational chemical plants employing less than 12,000
people. Despite the rather small number of Chemical Processing Industry
(CPI) plants in the region, the CPI generally invests $250 million or more
annually in capital and maintenance projects. Last year, Industrial Info
tracked an estimated $248 million in total CPI spending for the region, and
only a handful of projects -- worth less than $10 million combined -- were
placed on hold or canceled.
