Rodney Strong Vineyards Introduces Three New Estate Vineyards Wines

2013 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, 2013 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 2013 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

HEALDSBURG, CA--(Marketwired - September 01, 2015) - Rodney Strong Vineyards extended their line of Estate Vineyards wines to include two wines from the Sonoma Coast appellation, a chardonnay and pinot noir, and one from Knights Valley, a cabernet sauvignon. The winery is long known for their Chalk Hill chardonnay, Russian River Valley pinot noir and Alexander Valley cabernet and these additions exemplify their commitment to world-class, distinct wines from Sonoma County's best American Viticultural Areas, AVAs. The Sonoma Coast chardonnay and pinot noir have a suggested retail price of $26.00 and the Knights Valley cabernet sauvignon is priced at $35.00.

"These wines are distinctly different than our other Estate Vineyards wines," notes winemaker Justin Seidenfeld. "From winemaking to regional differences, they're completely unique and offer our customers something new and exciting to taste from Rodney Strong and Sonoma County." All three wines had been made in very small quantities exclusively for the winery's tasting room and wine club, however, due to the quality of the wines, the winery decided they warranted a national release.

Rodney Strong Wine Estates is a family owned, Sonoma County wine company that includes Rodney Strong Vineyards and Davis Bynum Winery. Rodney Strong grows and produces wines exclusively from four of Sonoma County's finest appellations -- Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, Chalk Hill and Sonoma Coast. The winery was founded in 1959 by wine pioneer Rodney D. Strong as the 13th bonded winery in the county. Davis Bynum crafts single vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The company aspires to conserve and protect the environment in all its operations. The Klein family, a fourth generation California farming family, entered the wine business with the purchase of Rodney Strong Vineyards in 1989.
