Rogerscasey Releases Investment Results of Buy Rated Managers

DARIEN, CT--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  For 10 years ended on June 30, 2010, Rogerscasey's buy rated managers, as a group, outpaced their respective benchmarks by 132 basis points per year. The outperformance was even higher -- 195 basis points -- for the trailing 12 months.

Currently, Rogerscasey's proprietary traditional investment manager universe contains over 7,900 active institutional separate account and commingled funds. Broadly speaking, most of these institutional products are segregated into 12 U.S. equity, eight non-U.S. and global equity, and six U.S. and non-U.S. fixed income investment manager peer universes. Rogerscasey measures the investment results of buy rated managers at the individual peer universe level and averages the individual manager results from each one of the peer universes to arrive at an average for the total traditional investment manager universe. Roughly 300 investment products were buy rated for the 10-year period, and 360 investment products for the 12 months, ended on June 30, 2010.
