Rookies Welcomed To Flutteroo With Beginner Auctions

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) - Online auctions website, Flutteroo, have unveiled plans for a new brand of auctions aimed at rookie players. They will be aimed at helping beginners get started on bidding in an environment where they can hone their skills before attempting a win alongside more experienced players.

The company, based in West London, was set up by Dave Hobday who came from a Senior Management and Marketing background. During this time, he worked with a host of high profile clients such as Procter & Gamble, Sportingbet, HBOS and Telewest, before going on to start up his own company from an idea he had for a unique penny auctions website.

In just over 6 months since its launch, Flutteroo have registered over 40,000 players and are keen to keep them satisfied as well as attract new players with a strong consumer led approach. These latest plans are a testimony to that philosophy and act as a direct response to feedback they have received from registered players, who suggested that the idea might be a good way of easing rookies in.

The auctions for beginners will help those who have never played before to hone their tactics and enjoy winning their first bid. The idea behind it is that when they have grown in confidence little, they will be more able to compete against more established bidders for Flutteroo's range of high end products.

Dave Hobday, Managing Director, says: 'The rookie auctions reinforce our philosophy of being a company driven by consumer feedback and creating more and more winners. We want as many people as possible to enjoy bidding and winning on Flutteroo and we are very keen to listen to the views of our players and improve the experience wherever we can'.

It is a fresh approach for such a relatively young company, but it is also something which Hobday recognises as playing a key role in maintaining interest and trust in the pay per bids auction website. The new games will be clearly communicated on the website very soon and marketed to all players via the flutteroo email marketing program.

The company meanwhile have plans to go global as well as great new products on the horizon, partnerships with the Daily Star, Express and also T3, which will be launching sometime in the immediate future.
