RoseComm Adds New Team Members, Promotes Long-Time Employees

HOBOKEN, NJ--(Marketwired - Nov 24, 2015) - RoseComm, an independent, strategic communications firm, today announced it added three new members to its team: Laurie Petersen as vice president, Shwetha Ramani as senior account executive and Stephanie Shaw as assistant account executive. These additions come as a result of the company's continued development, which is reflected in the addition of new clients, organic growth and expanded integrated communications offerings.

RoseComm also promoted three of its long-time team members: Lisa Trapani to senior vice president, Jennifer Leckstrom to vice president and Kelsey BaRoss to account executive.

"It's a great time to be in the industry -- brands from all walks of life are embracing the importance of storytelling with an editorial lens and that requires a team with a diverse range of skills," said Rosemary Ostmann, president and CEO of RoseComm. "Our most recent additions reflect just that, from an accomplished editor who covered the media business to a PR pro who most recently worked for big U.S. entertainment brands in Asia."

Petersen brings over 25 years of communications experience to RoseComm. She launched new products for The New York Times and CBS and has taught marketers at start-up companies how to use their content in the most effective ways. Her depth of knowledge comprises B2B, consumer, financial services and technology.

Ramani was part of the in-house marketing and communications team at both Disney Company India and Warner Bros. Pictures. She handled media relations, created branded content and managed the social media efforts for several Hollywood films.

Shaw recently graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's in English and textual studies. She worked as an intern for media company Face2Face Africa where she assisted in the coordination and execution of their integrated marketing plan.

"We embrace the opportunity to work with our clients in new ways to make sure their stories are heard, whether through third-party influencers or directly in a conversation with customers," said Ostmann. "As we look forward to continued growth in 2016, we're thrilled to welcome the new talent to our group and promote those who do such terrific work for our clients."
