Humes' first lecture -- titled, "Taking Control of Your Online Reputation" (course #210) -- is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd at 4:30 PM. Pre-registration with ASAPS is required, and physicians earn 2 CME credits for attending. During the two-hour course, Humes will delve into best practices for plastic surgeons seeking to effectively manage how their practice is perceived by online viewers, as well as how to vie for search engine positioning under their own name. Chief highlights of the course include:

  • Distinguishing which social media sites are the most beneficial for aesthetic surgeons
  • Discovering how to build profiles for said social media sites
  • Properly optimizing one's website for favorable search engine results

Titled, "Mobile Marketing and Cross Device Conversion," Humes' second speaking engagement will occur in the exhibit hall on Wednesday, April 6th from 1:25-1:40 PM* as part of an ASAPS Practice Changers event. The talk is centered around maintaining a firm online presence throughout the entire consumer journey and will define cross-device conversion, reveal/emphasize its importance to the aesthetic practice, and provide invaluable tools for converting the ever-growing number of mobile users into loyal patients.

On Thursday, April 7th, Humes will take the stage a third time as an expert panelist in a Business Side session titled, "Internet Marketing/Search Engine Optimization -- Where Are We Today and Where are We Going?" From 7:45-8:45 AM, Humes and his fellow panelists will be discussing the current state of SEO and Internet marketing for the aesthetic practice, as well as where they foresee the industry heading.
