Rosendin Electric's Green Team Adopts Section of Oregon Highway 26

Rosendin Electric's Oregon Regional Office Commits to Cleanup Portland-Area Roadside as Part of Ongoing Green Community Service Initiative

HILLSBORO, OR--(Marketwire - Apr 20, 2012) - The Oregon regional office of Rosendin Electric, one of the nation's largest private electrical contractors and a 100% employee-owned company, today announced that it has adopted a section of Oregon Highway 26 west of Portland. Participation in the Adopt-A-Highway Program is part of Rosendin Electric's Green Team initiative, a platform that is in-line with the company's commitment to community service and environmental responsibility and preservation.

"Rosendin Electric prides itself on being a national construction firm, but with strong roots in the local community," said Brian Ruffner, Business Development Manager for Rosendin Electric based in the Hillsboro office. "The company has a history of community commitment and seeking out ways to be a good neighbor. When the Green Team started examining new initiatives for 2012, the Adopt-A-Highway Program seemed a great way to show support for our community."

By adopting part of Highway 26, the Oregon Division of Rosendin Electric will assume responsibility for highway cleanup, including trash pickup and removing noxious weeds, at least four times per year. The first cleanup project is scheduled for some time in June.
