This summer "Destination Rosseau", a multi-discipline arts festival produced by the Rosseau Culture And Arts Project (R'CAP), expands with the introduction of "Parry Sound I Love You". Following its very successful inaugural summer in 2014, R'CAP reaches out to the neighbouring town of Parry Sound with the opening of the Upper Brunswick Playhouse. A former nightclub, the 100 seat dinner cabaret will begin with a production of the hit cottage country summer musical "Scenes From My Dock!". An updated version of the original, "SFMD 2.0 rebooted" is a collection of songs and skits that spoofs everything from guests from hell to dealing with a contractor to inheriting the cottage. The show opens at the Rosseau Memorial Hall, July 15-18 then moves into the new Parry Sound location from July 21 thru to Aug 15. Dinner theatre format $60, show only $30.

Humour remains very much part of this summer's schedule with "Up Against the Wall…a Comedy Bash", featuring veteran "Just For Laugh" comics Mike Paterson and Tim Rabnett.
There will be two performances in Parry Sound, July 31 and Aug 2 and one at the Rosseau Memorial Hall, August 1. For both performances in Parry Sound and Rosseau, it is dinner theatre format at $65 or show only $35.

"Destination Rosseau/P.S. I Love You" also features innovative science and theatre workshops for kids, art exhibits, concerts and the 2nd annual Muskoka Independent Film Festival at the end of August.
