Rossi Campaign Finishes Another Strong Week, Adds New Supporters

Momentum on the Ground Confirmed in Daily Media Presence and High Profile New Supporters-Team Preparing for Sign Blitz Sunday at Midnight

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 1, 2010) - The Rocco Rossi campaign is ending another strong week on a high note, with the candidate doorknocking in three wards as part of a "44 Wards in 4 weeks" blitz that will take the campaign to every ward in the city before election day on October 25th.

The past week also saw Rossi attend several debates, announce his vision for a safe and separated bike lane network, increase per-capita arts funding by 39 per cent and speak out strongly on the wave of gun crime affecting young people in our city.

With election day three weeks this Monday, the team is preparing to mount a citywide sign blitz at midnight Sunday that will put the Rossi name front and centre on Monday's morning's commute to work and school.

Also this week, the campaign continued to pick up high profile new supporters. Top radio personality Dean Blundell of The Edge said this week that "without question Rocco is the only man with the genuine ability to tell the truth, run Toronto and really listen to the people of this city. I fully endorse Rocco Rossi and you should too!"
