Rox Resources Ltd. ("RXRS.PK") Signs "Letter of Intent" to Acquire Four Properties Near the Thompson Nickel Belt, Thompson, Manitoba, Canada

LYNN LAKE, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2008) - Rox Resources Ltd. (Rox or the Company)(PINK SHEETS:RXRS.PK) today announced the Company has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire four properties, located along the Thompson Nickel Belt, near the town of Wabowden, Manitoba. The properties all have historic drill holes, which have significant nickel, as well cobalt and platinum showings.

Rox Resources Ltd. will initially acquire 15 claims, featuring four separate and distinct properties. The four properties are: the SAM, TOP, BEST and BIRCH properties. This acquisition would represent a land package of approximately 25 square kilometers. The four properties are located along HWY 6 near the town of Waboden, Manitoba. All four properties are easily accessible by both highway and rail, and have available power. Of interest, the four properties are situated between Inco's property to the northeast, which is currently a producing nickel mine, and Crowflight Minerals property, (nickel mines development) to the southwest. Crowflight Minerals (nickel mines development), is scheduled to go into production in the summer of 2008.

Falconbridge Limited and Falconbridge Nickel Mines Limited have previously drilled all four properties in the 1950's.There are approximately thirty historical drill holes, with DDH 12-03 on the Birch property showing 1.18% Ni/1.5 ft. being a significant highlight.

Falconbridge Limited, performed in 1993 a Horizontal Loop Electro Magnetic Survey (EM Survey) that highlighted the location of DDH 12-03. According to the Manitoba Government geology map, the P1 and P2 geological members (which host the big Thompson nickel ore bodies, i.e. Inco) are represented by the same strong EM conductor found on the Birch property.

The Company believes that the acquisition of the four properties represent above average exploration potential in light of the history with Falconbridge and the extensive amount of data that has been compiled to date.

Rox Resources Ltd. will announce further details regarding the acquisition; including the transaction closing, and the Company's plan to further identify the resource in the near future.

Rox Resources Ltd. corporate mission is to acquire land claims with superior exploration potential and or past producing mining camps with above average economics. Rox currently owns The Fox Mine near the town of Lynn Lake, Manitoba.
