Royal Laser Corp. Completes the Acquisition of the Operating Assets of Winston Steel Inc.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 29, 2008) - Royal Laser Corp. ("Royal Laser") (TSX:RLC) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary 1452938 Ontario Limited carrying on business as "Venture Steel" ("Venture Steel") has successfully completed its previously announced intention to purchase substantially all of the operating assets of Winston Steel Inc. ("Winston"), a Mississauga, Ontario based steel service centre, (the "Acquisition"). The total purchase price of approximately $9.6 million was satisfied by payment of cash and assumption of liabilities, subject to adjustment for working capital realization.
