Royalite Petroleum Company Inc. Utah Hingeline Well Update

BLAINE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 4, 2007 -- Royalite Petroleum Company Inc. (OTCBB: RYPE) continues to drill ahead of schedule on its initial wildcat well located in the SE/4SW/4 of Section 16, T-28-S, R-3-W, Piute Co., Utah.

The Royalite State 16-1 is the Company's first exploratory well being drilled in the central Utah Hingeline. The well was spud on March 8, 2007 and conductor pipe was set at 120 ft. On March 15, Royalite commenced drilling through Miocene volcanic rock to a depth of 1,505 ft. where 9 5/8" surface casing was set and cemented in place.

The Royalite State 16-1 well is currently drilling in the Middle Jurassic at a depth of 5,770 ft. The "tight hole" is being drilled along the Gunnison fault in the newly discovered central Utah Hingeline trend. The primary objective of this well is the Lower Jurassic Navajo sandstone which is the closest producing formation found in the Covenant field located approximately 28 miles to the northeast. The Company has plans to drill to the Permian Kaibab Limestone formation. Royalite anticipates another week to ten days of drilling, testing and logging on the Royalite State 16-1 well to completely evaluate this prospect and secure the necessary sub-surface geological data.

Royalite Petroleum Company Inc. is a publicly traded oil and gas exploration company focused exclusively within the central Utah Hingeline trend.
