Latest From Agetec Designer Series™ Offers Advanced Game Storytelling With Easy-to-Use Toolset With Powerful New Features

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 17, 2005 -- At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Agetec, Inc., a leading publisher of entertainment software, today announced summer availability for RPG Maker™ 3 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. A significant new addition to the Agetec Designer Series of titles, RPG Maker 3 expands the series to be accessible to more users, with a toolset, cast of characters and worlds that make it quick, easy and fun to create an enchanting fantasy game.

The easy-to-use toolset includes a sprite-based map editor, quests, set events and story elements that challenge players' creativity -- without challenging their patience. The toolset includes features such as allowing players to simply draw environments 2D, with the result transformed automatically into 3D worlds. Players can populate towns in real time, while choosing from a huge cast of characters, animations, magic effects, weapons and more -- all reproduced in beautiful fantasy-style graphics.

"RPG Maker 3 gives PlayStation®2 users a chance to let their imagination run wild and let the toolset do the work," said Mark Johnson, vice president of marketing for Agetec, Inc. "Game enthusiasts of all ages will quickly feel like game design experts and take pride in playing a game they've designed from the ground up. It's storytelling at its best."
