RPH Engineering Introduces The Quicklock System

The World's First Bluetooth and NFC Doorlock and Padlock Security Solution That Works for Everyone

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - November 14, 2014) - RPH Engineering is releasing its second crowd-funding project named -- The Quicklock System on Monday, November 17th.

Introducing The Quicklock System -- The world's first Bluetooth and NFC doorlock and padlock security solution that works for everyone. The Quicklock not only works using your Bluetooth enabled smartphone, but also uses NFC technology in the form of a ring, FOB, wristband or label. The Quicklock line also boasts an impressive "2-year" battery life as well!

Currently, there are 3 products in the Quicklock line.
The Doorlock
The Deadbolt
The Padlock

The Quicklock System provides quick access to the important things in your life. With Bluetooth and NFC, you choose the key that best fits your lifestyle!

A doorlock or padlock shouldn't be limited to Bluetooth alone. Other lock solutions that were recently crowd funded only boast the use of Bluetooth. We believe a lock solution should work for everyone, not just those with a smartphone. Thus, we engineered a solution that uses both Bluetooth and NFC.

We have reinvented the way traditional locks and keys are used for security. It is the world's first solution that works for everyone, including those who may not use a smartphone, like children and the elderly. The Quicklock product line allows immediate and hassle free access to the important things in your life. It also boasts an impressive battery life of up to two years. No other security product has the ease of functionality quite like The Quicklock system. The Doorlock and Deadbolt can easily be installed to replace traditional door locks. Unique product innovations make The Quicklock more affordable than other electronic locks currently on the market.

The Quicklock can also be used on an inside door to turn any closet or room into a secure space.

The Quicklock line includes three different locks:

The Doorlock/The Deadbolt:

  • Durable Die Cast Zinc Alloy
  • Compatible with Bluetooth technology and wireless NFC keys

Works Seamlessly with Bluetooth and downloadable APP:

Using the latest Bluetooth Low Energy™ 4.0 technology, The Quicklock mobile app turns most smartphones into a wireless key, which allows the lock to recognize and respond quickly while communicating seamlessly with The Quicklock app.

  • Compatible with smartphones running iOS and Android
  • App is easy to download and a easy to use.

Three (3) wireless NFC keys:

  • Stainless steel wireless NFC Ring
  • Wireless NFC FOB
  • Wireless NFC Label that can turn almost any object into a usable key.

Wireless NFC keys can be programmed and used for all Quicklock Systems as well as other current and future products with NFC technology. These keys are also durable, waterproof and do not need batteries.

NFC technology is becoming more widespread and is a new feature of the iPhone 6. By including both Bluetooth and NFC in its line of security solutions, The Quicklock offers affordable security options and quick access technology to everyone.
