RPM Attends Annual Conference of Association of Public Safety Communication Officials International (APCO)

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - August 29, 2007) - NuTech, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NTCI), an emerging provider of innovative technology solutions for the security industry, reports today that Mr. B. Allen Fletcher, President of Resource Protection Management, LP (RPM) in which NuTech has a 49% ownership interest, attended the Annual Conference of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, International, Inc. (APCO) in Baltimore, Maryland.

As an officer of the Board of Managers for Montgomery County, Texas, Mr. Fletcher attended the Annual APCO conference to meet both decision makers in the law enforcement communications arena as well as vendors who provide equipment that is critical to the successful performance of their duties.

At the conference, Mr. Fletcher made an important contact with a "situational awareness" provider that would provide a video aspect to RPM's patent pending "dual notification" system. The interaction would result in RPM assisting law enforcement by streaming live video from an emergency scene before and during their response, providing more protection for both the public and law enforcement.

"Attending this conference allowed RPM to gain crucial relationships on the vendor and client side. We're potentially adding a robust video feature to our security offering," said Allen Fletcher, President and CEO of RPM. "I met with high-level public safety officials in the communities RPM wants to target. I understand their needs, we speak a common language, and they see that we have a battle tested project that will protect their constituents."

RPM continues to work on the planned monitoring station at Sam Houston State University, the premier Criminal Justice University in the United States, in which RPM will monitor both alarm signals as well as video feeds that are activated by 911 calls from those persons who are participating. The monitoring of the video feeds requires specific equipment that will enable RPM to capture the video from the scene of the 911 call as well as the ability to review and forward appropriate video feeds to the Public Safety Answering Point that will ultimately be responsible for overseeing the police response to the 911 call.
