RS Information Systems, Inc. Awarded GSA Alliant GWAC Contract

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwire - August 15, 2007) - RS Information Systems, Inc. (RSIS), provider of advanced technical and business solutions in information technology, systems engineering, scientific support, and management consulting, has been awarded one of the 29 General Services Administration (GSA) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) Alliant contracts. This contract has a 5-year base with one 5-year option and is valued at $50B. This is the largest GSA-sponsored government-wide acquisition vehicle in GSA history. Amongst steep competition, RSIS is only one of a handful of mid-sized companies to have been awarded a contract.

The Alliant contract will provide federal government agencies a centralized source to acquire integrated Information Technology (IT) solutions worldwide. The vehicle is open to all federal agencies and supports goals for streamlining acquisition processes and delivering cost-effective IT solutions to federal government agencies to improve service and increase efficiency -- allowing agencies to comply with Federal policies governing IT investments.

"This is an especially momentous win for RSIS proving we can bid against the world's largest and most successful firms and win," said Ron Trowbridge, Executive Vice President, RSIS. "The win also solidifies our partnership with GSA and our commitment to helping GSA and its end users achieve their critical mission needs."
