Rubidium, Beryllium, Tantalum and Cesium Associated With the DIOS-SIRIOS Lithium Discovery

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2010) - DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) reports assay results for several metals associated with its lithium discovery on the PONTAX - LITHIUM property, James Bay, Quebec, owned in equal partnership with SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI). The lithium pegmatites return values up to 4,980 ppm (g/t) rubidium (Rb) over 1.8 m (meter), 2,812 ppm Rb over 5 m and 2,735 ppm Rb over 4 m; 484 ppm beryllium (Be) over 3 m and 436 ppm Be over 5 m; 204 ppm tantalum (Ta) over 4 m and 2 m with 480 ppm cesium (Cs).

A zone of mineralized pegmatites with lithium and other metals was delineated over a 50 metre width and a strike length of more than 425 metres from last Fall drilling, which did not test deeper than 60 m below the surface. Grades such as 3 % Li2O over 4 m were returned on one end across the exposed zone and 2.22 % Li2O over 4 m in a section 325 m more to the east as well as 1.69 % Li2O over 9 m from drilling, 1.1 % Li2O with 2,050 g/t Rb over 13 m (50 m west), 1.38 % Li2O over 12 m (50 m more to the west) and 1.43% Li2O over 13 m (a further 100 m west). The DIOS PONTAX property is neighbouring claims held by First Gold.

Dominique Doucet, Vice-President of DIOS stated: "The PONTAX-LITHIUM discovery made by our team is the most recent significant lithium discovery in eastern Canada. It will certainly gain importance as additional work is undertaken on the property. Other lithium projects from companies such as Lithium One, Nemaska, and First Gold, all within an 80 km radius of our property, undoubtedly define a significant lithium metallogenic province in this area of James Bay."

Thickness of the pegmatites, which are found within mafic volcanic rocks, reaches up to 13.5 metres and generally varies between 3 to 5 metres. The pegmatites are mineralized in spodumene (lithium alumino-silicate). The zone is open at depth and in strike.

All drill core samples and channel track samples were assayed at Actlabs laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario. A strict QA/QC program was implemented, including mineralized standards and blanks for each sample batch. Sodium peroxide was used to dissolve the samples which were then assayed by ICP-AES and ICP-MS. Lithium assay results were converted into Li2O % (1% Li equals 2.15% Li2O).
