"Rude Awakening" All Good for Rozino Smith

OCEAN CITY, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 7, 2005 -- Magellan Records recording artist Rozino Smith welcomed a "rude awakening" on the 4th of July when his debut single "Crown & Coke" was featured on WOCM's Bulldog's Rude Awakening Show.

"The response was amazing," commented Bulldog, the host of the popular morning radio show. "Callers loved it -- a lot of references to Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews -- we'll definitely be adding it to our playlist." The folk-rock track "Crown & Coke" is the first single released from Rozino Smith's debut album "Blurry Summer," which arrived at retail and online stores on June 21st.

Bulldog's Rude Awakening Show features a variety of entertainment & news, including celebrity interviews, comedy spoofs, and listener-driven discussions. The show airs weekday mornings from 6 to 10am to the east coast on WOCM FM98.1, and to a world-wide audience via live streaming broadcast on the internet (www.irieradio.com).

A grinning Rozino Smith certainly welcomes the growing popularity of independent & internet radio. "You just gotta love indie radio supporting indie artists."
