Run of River Retains Investor Relations Consultant

Run of River Power Inc (TSX VENTURE:ROR) is pleased to confirm that Mr. David Speck of Toronto, Ontario has been retained in the capacity of investor relations consultant to the Corporation.

David has a wealth of experience in the investment industry, having spent 12 years as an investment advisor, where he earned the FCSI designation (Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute), and completed the CFA program (Chartered Financial Analyst). David was instrumental in building the O'Donnell Group of Funds who raised over $1 billion in assets under administration in their first full year and went public on the TSX. During his ensuing tenure with Merrill Lynch Canada, David presided over 120 investment advisors. Following the purchase of Merrill Lynch Canada by CIBC Wood Gundy, David joined Research Capital Corporation as Managing Director, National Sales.

In a press release dated June 30, 2005 the Corporation announced it intention to retain the services of both David Speck and Robert Kennedy as an investor relations consultants. As a matter of clarification the Corporation reports that Mr. Kennedy has not been retained to provide his services to the Corporation.

About Run of River Power

Run of River Power Inc. is focused on the development and operation of hydroelectric power generation projects in the Province of British Columbia. The Corporation developed and operates the 7.6 MW Brandywine Creek project, which is located near Whistler BC, and is currently producing power for approximately 4,000 homes. The project was completed earlier this year and all the power output is sold to BC Hydro under terms of a 20-year contract. The Corporation proposes to develop additional hydroelectric projects on streams and rivers located in the Province of BC. The Corporation just acquired a further 95 MW of installed capacity in the Pitt Lake area northeast of Vancouver.
