Run This Way for Peace and Nonviolence Protect Students and Education in War Zones!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 23, 2014) - On December 20th International Day of Human Solidarity, Run This Way team congratulate students from Quebec, Ecuador, Argentina and France who participated in the race for the peace and nonviolence during the fall!

In fact several thousand of students from Montreal, Gatineau and Abitibi region have ran thousands of kilometers for peace and nonviolence with students from others countries (Ecuador, France and Argentina). Run This Way program has compile more than 10,000 kilometers ran by students from various schools and countries. Each year some races are organizes to promote peace and non-violent conflict resolution in schools. Each year thousands of kilometers are " symbolically" compile and given to a personality or international organization that is working to protect education and students in conflict zone. This year Run This Way school program will extend his program during winter 2015. The kilometers ran by students will be compile until March 1st 2015. In March all kilometers will be donate to the United Nations General Assembly members asking for « Uniting for Peace ».

What is Run This Way?

Run This Way school program is proposing sports and Arts activities aiming to promote Active nonviolence. The school program is promoting a vision a unity, «A World as a Whole ». In fact today most student grasps this image "World as a whole". Student are aware that the problems of students and their families in war zone involve also others people even if they are living far away from the conflict. This new sensibility is being born and is correspond to the changing time. A school program encouraging dialogue among student and youth from diverse religious and cultural background.
