Rush Club Launches Innovative Athletic Competition/Entertainment Brand

Intense Sport Launches Weight Class Competition

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - January 27, 2016) - Rush Club has developed a format that revolutionizes the way people watch and participate in competitive sports. It is a head-to-head, weight-class based competitive fitness event that combines fitness, competition (CrossFit style), entertainment, inspiration and intense drama in a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) style setting. We are the fight club of fitness.

Rush Club is the world's first and only competition of its kind. According to AJ Richards, Founder and CEO, "We are an expression of fitness. We exist to touch, move, and inspire people to action. Our head-to-head duels are designed to not only entertain, but to encourage people to pursue their own evolutionary peak performance." Rush Club events are at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, AZ or may be viewed online via live streaming.

Starting in 2013, Rush Club began as a head-to-head tournament style competition. It has since evolved into a weight-based competitive fitness format. Events are designed to have both athletes finish within seconds or reps of one another. Rush Club strikes the perfect balance of showcasing the drama of intense, head-to-head competition while maintaining the respect for every athlete.

"Rush Club is far more than a show of people working out. It is an expression of heart, inspiration, sportsmanship and the warrior's spirit. Rush Club is accessible to everyone of all ages and is designed to leave you feeling captivated, motived and inspired," claims Stacey Snyder, President.

In another first, Rush Club has developed its adaptive athlete division. It is the first and only place where professional Athletes who are amputees or wheelchair-bound can complete one-on-one at an elite level of competition. These athletes are paired with others of like adaptation and specific programming so as to achieve a fair and balanced competition. The adaptive athlete is one who, in spite of his or her injury, has made the choice to continue to train at the peak of what was conceived as possible -- and then kept going. Rush Club's goal is to change the way adaptive people view themselves and how non-adaptive people relate to them. AJ Richards claims, "We are committed to changing the way the world relates to and describes adaptive people. No longer will the words disabled or disadvantaged be used to describe them. Adaptive will be the definition for these inspiring people."

"Our goal is to create a movement around movement -- to motivate and inspire action and to help everyone, regardless of their physical limitations to adapt and overcome obstacles that stand in the way of their wildest aspirations," says Rush Club CIO Steve Heideman.

Rush Club is out to revolutionize performance and celebrate intense competition via an entertainment format that shares stories of the human spirit.
