Rusoro Mining Ltd.: Positive Metallurgical Results Received for SREP and Increible 6 Projects

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2007) - Rusoro Mining Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:RML) is pleased to provide details of recent metallurgical testing results from the Increible 6 and SREP Projects, located in Bolivar State, Venezuela.

Micon International Limited has been contracted by the Company to complete scoping studies on the Increible 6 and SREP Projects. As part of the detailed work on each project, Process Research Associates of Richmond B.C. Canada is completing a series of metallurgical tests designed and supervised by Micon.

The detailed metallurgical testing is being completed on a total of 20 composite samples (approximately 300 kg). The composite samples from Increible 6 consist of quartered drill core each weighing approximately 25 kilograms. The approximately five kilogram samples from SREP were collected from existing underground workings and composited from drill core. Samples were selected to represent the various mineralized zones and material types present within the Increible 6 and SREP gold resources.

Results for the bottle roll Cyanide tests completed are set out below;

The average recovery for the eight samples from Increible 6 was 90.2% and the average recovery for the six samples from SREP was 94.1%. Head grades for the Increible samples ranged between 0.61 g/t and 4.11 g/t Au while head grades for the SREP samples had a maximum of 105.45 g/t and a minimum of 2.70 g/t Au. The Increible tests had a retention time of 72 hours and a NaCN strength of 2g/l while the SREP samples had a retention time of 48 hours, and a NaCN strength of 1g/l.

For the SREP samples the testwork verifies the excellent performance of the current operations at the Emilia Mill and supports the initial design work for the expansion and updating of the existing plant.

The Company is highly encouraged by the overall recoveries, low reagent consumptions and quick leach times. Additional optimization work is on-going. The metallurgical work is continuing and further tests will include: Bond Ball Mill Work Index, Abrasion, Gravity Tests, Cyanide Leach, Cyanide Destruction, Acid Base Accounting and Mineralogical Work.

The Company continues to move forward to meet its goals for 2007 including the completion of 220,000 metres of drilling, completing its engineering studies, and advancing its mill expansion and underground development program.

Qualified Person: Mr. Gregory Smith, PGeo., the Vice-President Exploration of the Company, is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and is responsible for the accuracy of this news release.
