Russel Metals to Participate in SteelDay on September 24, 2010

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2010) - Russel Metals Inc. (TSX:RUS) announced today that it will be participating in SteelDay on Friday, September 24, 2010 at its locations in Edmonton, Alberta; Vancouver, British Columbia; Aberfoyle and Stoney Creek, Ontario; Terrebonne, Quebec; and Sackville, New Brunswick. Customers, architects, engineers, contractors, students and any other interested party will have the opportunity to visit and tour our facilities.

SteelDay 2010, hosted by Canadian Institute of Steel Construction, is a national event dedicated to providing accessibility to the latest happenings in the structural steel industry. SteelDay events such as facility tours, education seminars and jobsite visits are scheduled across Canada to showcase how the steel industry contributes to build Canada. This event is free of charge.
