Russell 3000 Index: Outperforming Developed ex-U.S. and Emerging Markets Indexes YTD

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - February 28, 2011) - The U.S. broad market Russell 3000® Index has reflected a 5.4% gain for the year through February 25, 2011, outperforming the Russell Developed ex-U.S. Index (4.6%) and the Russell Emerging Markets Index (-4.6%) for the same period.

The Russell 3000, which reflected a return of 2.2% for January 2011 and 3.1% month-to-date through February 25, 2011, outperformed the Russell Developed ex-U.S. Index for both time periods

Also of note, the Russell Emerging Markets Index, which outperformed both the Russell 3000 and Russell Developed ex-U.S.indexes for calendar-year 2010 is currently underperforming month-to-date in February, showing a return of -1.8%.
