Russell Global Index: Latin America Outperforms in 3Q10, Up Nearly 22%

TACOMA, WA--(Marketwire - October 1, 2010) -  Latin America outperformed other regions represented in the Russell Global Index for the third quarter of 2010, reflecting a 21.7% gain, followed closely by Europe (19.7%) and Asia Pacific ex-Japan (19.3%).

Among sectors represented in the Russell Global Index, Materials and Processing posted the strongest return, up 20% for the third quarter of 2010, followed by Consumer Discretionary (17.8%) and Producer Durables (16%).
