Russell Global Index: U.S. and Asia Outperform in November 2010

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2010) - The United States and Asia were the top performers of the key regions represented by the Russell Global Index in November 2010, with the broad-market Russell 3000® Index gaining 0.6%, and the Russell Asia Index posting a return of 0.03%. The Russell Europe Index reflected the worst performance, with a loss of 7.2% for the month. 

The Russell Global Index posted a November loss of 1.8%, with only three of its nine sectors reflecting positive returns for the month: energy (0.8%), consumer discretionary (0.7%) and materials and processing (0.1%). The utilities sector was the worst performer for the month with a loss of 5.1%.
