Russell Global Indexes: Developed Markets Outperforming Frontier, Emerging Markets YTD

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - March 2, 2011) - The Russell Frontier Index has reflected a year-to-date loss of 4.4% through February 28, 2011, down from its 2010 gain of 25.7%. The Russell Emerging Markets Index, which posted a 22% gain for 2010, has also reversed its 2010 course, and is reflecting a year-to-date loss of 3.8%.

The Russell Developed Index, which underperformed the Russell Frontier Index and Russell Emerging Markets Index in 2010, has outperformed both indexes for the year through February 28, 2011, reflecting a year-to-date gain of 5.8%.
