Russell MENA Index: Tunisia and Kuwait Lead Region in 3Q10

LONDON--(Marketwire - September 23, 2010) - The Russell MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Index has rebounded significantly from the 13.6% loss posted in the second quarter of 2010, reflecting a 13% return thus far in the third quarter, through September 21, 2010.

Tunisia and Kuwait top the list as every country in the Russell MENA Index has posted positive returns so far this quarter, with the Russell Tunisia Index and the Russell Kuwait Index showing greater than 20% returns for the quarter and year, through September 21, 2010. The Russell UAE Index has been the worst performer year-to-date through September 21, 2010, down 0.5%.
