Rustyice Solutions Signs VAR Reseller Agreement With Mushroom Networks Inc.

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - February 15, 2011) - Rustyice Solutions, a high growth network systems integrator based in Kilmarnock, Scotland, signed an agreement with Mushroom Networks Inc., to bring its Broadband Bonding™ solutions to the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland. The agreement delivers the innovative Broadband Bonding product lines to the UK and Ireland, and further enhances the strength of Rustyice Solutions' solution portfolio encompassing voice, video and data to homes and businesses.

"One of the key barriers network-enabled businesses currently face is the cost of network bandwidth. Our approach to solving this problem led us to evaluate a number of innovative products across the market. We ultimately decided that Mushroom Networks products are the best positioned to bring cost effective bandwidth provision to any size of business. We are at an inflexion point in the development of the network as a business necessity. As services move increasingly into the cloud, bandwidth becomes ever more fundamental to any organisation. Mushroom Networks products allow us to offer high levels of WAN bandwidth to our customers by democratising the WAN and leveraging the ubiquity of xDSL technology," said Dave Kinloch, technical sales director of Rustyice Solutions.

Mushroom Networks products can provide a dedicated "fat" IP pipe between business sites, acting effectively as a virtual leased line which competes with MPLS and Metro Ethernet services at a fraction of the cost. The Truffle BBNA product range can either be used in this mode as a "point-to-point" service or is also capable of bonding circuits at an individual site providing aggregated low cost internet access bandwidth which has redundancy built in by design. Other Mushroom Networks products include the PortaBella, a product which gives mobile users the ability to combine multiple USB based cellular wireless data cards into an aggregated link, and the Teleporter which carries out broadcast-quality video streaming at low-latency.

"We are pleased to announce our partnership with Rustyice Solutions, bringing fiber-like speed with DSL-like prices to the UK and Irish markets," stated Cahit Akin, CEO of Mushroom Networks. "Many of our clients are multi-national enterprises and being able to deploy a consistent IP network between their branch offices over bonded broadband Internet connections, that is fast, reliable and costs a fraction of a MPLS network is truly attractive for them."

The full Broadband Bonding product line is available in the UK and Ireland markets today.
