Rx Safes Engages Grant Writer to Support a National Shift in Efforts to Curb Prescription Drug Abuse

Company Will Assist Non-Profits in Obtaining Funds to Purchase Rx DrugSAFE

HENDERSON, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 25, 2015) - Rx Safes, Inc. (OTC: RXSF), the developer of patented fingerprint healthcare security products and secure prescription medicine lock-boxes announced today that it has engaged the services of a Grant Writer who will work with the Company to assist non-profits in identifying and obtaining private, local, state and government grant funds to purchase units of its revolutionary flagship product, the Rx DrugSAFE.

For the last several years, community initiatives to fight the war on prescription drug abuse have focused on drug "take-back" programs, which Rx Safes has supported and participated in. However, the company has recently seen a common sense refocusing of efforts more on providing a "first line of defense" to prevent initial access of potentially dangerous medications by unauthorized persons. This refocus is being further reinforced by the government's financial support of preventative programs to tackle the prescription drug abuse epidemic. "While 'take-back' initiatives serve to remove some of these medications out of circulation, there are still billions of pills in homes used by patients with chronic conditions or recovering from injuries and these remain unsecured and easily accessible to young children and teenagers," commented Lorraine Yarde, CEO of Rx Safes, Inc.

With 2500 children a day experimenting with prescription pills for the first time, and more than 70% of them stealing these pills from the home medicine cabinet, the US is raising a new generation of drug abusers. "The Rx DrugSAFE offers a viable solution to prevent unauthorized access to these dangerous drugs while still maintaining convenient access for the prescribed patient. We believe this is key if we are going to encourage patients to be personally responsible for their medications in the home. I believe that in making our product more easily obtainable, we will have a major positive impact upon this issue," Ms. Yarde added.

The company's grant writer will assist non-profit organizations looking to purchase Rx DrugSAFE units effectively craft healthcare proposals and outcome evaluation plans that are required for many government and foundation grants. She has created many winning proposals that were awarded by large government funders and is also a co-founder of Axis Bridge, a nonprofit organization that helps rehabilitate and care for people struggling with substance abuse. This experience will provide the company with the breadth of knowledge necessary to bring this valuable service to non-profit organizations across the country.
