Ryka® to Break Its First Kelly Ripa TV Spot in April 2011

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - March 7, 2011) - Women's performance shoe brand Ryka® ( premieres its first-ever national TV spot with "Live" TV star Kelly Ripa in April as part of a comprehensive spring campaign breaking in time for Mother's Day 2011.

Directed by celebrated filmmaker Marcus Nispel, who directed Ripa in Electrolux®'s acclaimed "Laundry Day" commercial in 2010, the new 30-second spot represents the next phase in Ryka's ongoing partnership with the Emmy®-winning actress. The spot highlights Ryka footwear for women, which includes running and fitness shoes engineered by the brand's female design team in partnership with Ripa. It will be supported by a national print and online campaign starring the "Live" TV host.
