Sabrix Named One of Silicon Valley's Fastest Growing Companies in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Rising Star Category

Sabrix Achieves Rapid Revenue Growth for Second Year in Rising Star Category

SAN RAMON, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 19, 2005 -- Sabrix™, Inc., the leading provider of Consolidated Transaction Tax Management™ applications, has been named to the Rising Star category of Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley once again. The Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations. The Rising Star category is for younger companies, and rankings are based on three year growth from 2002-2004. Sabrix's revenue increase of 394 percent resulted in a fifth place ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Silicon Valley.

"It is an honor to be recognized for a second year in a row by Deloitte & Touche for our financial performance," notes Steve L. Adams, president and CEO of Sabrix. "We've had an incredible year so far, aggressively growing our customer base and expanding our product offering. Sabrix's continued growth is a testament to not only the operational excellence of our team, but to the commitment of our customers who require a solution for the consistent management of transaction taxes and who have provided valuable input into our products and services."

Sabrix's approach to transaction tax management enables tax and IT professionals to manage compliance and optimize cash flows related to sales, use, and value-added taxes, with consistent accuracy, control and efficiency. During the past year, the company has continued to grow its customer base with the addition of Fortune 500 companies, including Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation, DTE Energy, and IBM as well as fast-growing private companies, such as Banfield, The Pet Hospital; Chick-fil-A, and Houghton Mifflin.

"Deloitte's Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision, and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment," said Jonathan Dharmapalan, managing partner of the Northern Pacific Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice at Deloitte. "We applaud the success of Sabrix; it is one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate during the past three years."

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star category, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in Silicon Valley, and be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.

Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
