Sabtech Appoints Seasoned Aerospace Executive Harry Halamandaris to Its Board of Directors

Throughout his career, Mr. Halamandaris has amassed more than 40 years of combined industry experience in aerospace and defense, information systems, electronics, wireless communications, applications systems software, and other sectors. During his tenure at Litton Industries, Inc., he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for more than $3.5 billion in revenues. Prior to this position, Mr. Halamandaris served the company as Senior Vice President and Group Executive for aerospace and defense as well as information systems. Along with these assignments, he also oversaw corporate-wide technology development and licensing, strategic planning, management services and human resources. Litton's product and technology applications covered land, sea, airborne and space-borne platforms. In addition, Mr. Halamandaris contributed significantly to the sale of Litton to Northrop Grumman.

Other executive positions included Senior Vice President and Group Executive at Kaiser Aerospace, where Mr. Halamandaris was responsible for rocket thruster technology and electro-mechanical systems. In this capacity, he also served as a member of the corporate technology management team. Mr. Halamandaris also served in several progressively responsible roles during his 23-year tenure at Teledyne Industries.

Former board positions include Broadband IT, TechnoConcepts and Avrio Technology Group. In addition, Mr. Halamandaris worked closely with the corporate boards of Litton Industries, Teledyne Industries and Kaiser Aerospace. Mr. Halamandaris also sat on industry advisory boards for the University of Southern California, California State University Los Angeles and Mercer University. Mr. Halamandaris was also a National Science Foundation Fellow. His professional affiliations include the American Electronics Association, Defense Trade Advisory Group-U.S. State Department, Member of AUSA, Navy League, Air Force Association, National Defense Preparedness Association and Institute to Navigation.

Mr. Halamandaris received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Utah State University in 1960, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University in 1961 and 1963, respectively. He also certified in courses in Finance from Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and Management from Harvard University.
